Your Loyal Pet And House Sitter

I was born in a family with a dog which began my lifelong love for animals. I have owned dogs all my life. In my early 20s, I started adopting from a local animal shelter and then went on to become a volunteer at the same shelter for 14 years. I would walk and socialize with the dogs, spend some time socializing with the cats, and help with fundraising events.

It was then I knew that I wanted to work with animals. When I heard about pet sitting, I knew that was for me. After all, the thing that I loved about volunteering was that the animals were always happy to see me and it's the same with a pet I am pet sitting for.

I started Wags and Whiskers Pet Sitting in 2002. It was on a part-time basis. Pet sitting services for pets whose owners were away on vacations.

In 2012, I decided to take it full time, offering daily dog walks for people who needed someone to come in and take care of their dogs when they are at work. I am bonded and insured, and also certified in pet first aid and CPR.
